May 29th, 2016 - Millwood Runs With Spring Nationals Series

After a month away, Tyler Millwood returned on action on Friday night at Boyd’s Speedway for the Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals sanctioned event. Drawing forty-six Super Late Models, Millwood needed a 4th place finish or better in his heat to make the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Logging an 8th place outing, Tyler’s night was over. On Saturday night the Spring Nationals series followers headed to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) for another $4,000-to-win A-Main. Placing 3rd in his heat, Millwood secured his spot into the feature. With 40-laps to gain some ground, Tyler recorded an 18th place finish. Closing out the three-day Memorial weekend, Millwood stopped at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) for the Spring Nationals season finale. Transferring the top eight into the feature, Tyler registered a 7th place spot earning him an 18th place starting position for the feature.
