Tyler Millwood made the short trip to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Ga.) on Saturday evening to defend his home turf against the stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). Saturday found Tyler Millwood in action at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) to enter his Millwood Plumbing No. 31 Late Model into battle with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series. Tyler Millwood was one of 38 Southern All Star Series entries on hand at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) on Saturday afternoon for the Michael Head Jr. Memorial. With his time trial effort lining him up seventh for the $5,054-to-win A-Main, Millwood ran as high a second in the 54-lapper but faded late to cross the line in seventh.

June 26, 2021 - Millwood marches to $2,000 victory at Dixie |

His latest triumph came on Saturday evening at Dixie Speedway. Two of his three wins this season have come at the historic, 3/8-mile oval.
“Dixie Speedway has been really good to us so far this year, and we were able to get another win there on Saturday. My crew gave me a great car, and I did my part,” Millwood said. “I hated to see Rome get rained out on Sunday. We won when I was last there back in May and was looking forward to getting back there, but Mother Nature had other ideas.”
On Saturday afternoon, Tyler Millwood made the short trek to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Ga.) to pilot his Millwood Plumbing No. 31 Late Model in the Independence Day Celebration opener. Reeling in his third win of the season, Millwood outran Pearson Lee Williams in the feature to capture $2,000.
Sunday's scheduled second round of the Independence Day Celebration at Rome Speedway (Rome, Ga.) fell victim to Mother Nature.

May 30, 2021 - Millwood tops Spring Nationals foes at Rome |

The maiden voyage to Victory Lane with the Ray Cook-promoted tour was worth $4,053 and came at Rome Speedway, and marked his second overall triumph of the season.
“I feel like we’ve come a long with our program in the past year. Tonight, some of the front runners had bad luck, and that no doubt helped us get the lead, but we put ourselves in a position to capitalize on these opportunities. It means a lot to our team to get our first Spring Nationals against such a talented field,” Millwood said. “We’re currently planning to head to Eldora in two weeks for the double Dream events, and I couldn’t be more excited. A big thank you is dedicated to everyone, who supports our program.”
Tyler Millwood kicked off his Memorial Day weekend racing excursion on Saturday evening at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Ga.), where he was piloting his Machine Construction Company No. 31 Late Model in the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals event. With his third-fastest qualifying time locking him into the sixth-starting position for the opening night feature, Millwood was running in the top-10 when bent wheel caused extreme vibration. He was forced to retire from the event on lap 26.
The following night at Rome Speedway (Rome, Ga.), Tyler laid down the second-fastest time in his qualifying group behind Austin Horton, which positioned him fourth on the starting grid for the A-Main. Sliding into the lead on lap 29 after pacesetter Austin Horton ran into mechanical issues, Millwood charged to his second win of the season, which came over Donald McIntosh, Jason Croft, Randy Weaver, and Dale McDowell. He earned $4,053.

April 23, 2021 - Fireball 50 brings Millwood to Atomic |
On Thursday afternoon Tyler Millwood was one of 28 Late Models on hand at Atomic Speedway (Alma, Ohio) for the second round of the Castrol FloRacing Night in America miniseries. April 17, 2021 - Top-5 finish with Spring Nationals at I-75 |
Tyler Millwood was one of 32 Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals series entries entered at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) on Friday night for the third attempt at the Tennessee oval. With the top-eight qualifiers getting locked into the A-Main, Millwood posted the third fastest time in his qualifying group. With $5,053 on the line, Tyler held his spot for the entire distance of the 40-lapper to place fifth, trailing Brandon Overton, Michael Page, Dale McDowell, and Cory Hedgecock to the checkers.
On Saturday night, Tyler headed to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) for the Southern All Star Series-sanctioned Rockin’ with the Stars. Earning the 19th-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events, Millwood gained four spots in the 40-lap affair to finish 15th.

February 12, 2021 - Millwood returns to Volusia for DIRTcar Nationals |
On Monday afternoon, Tyler Millwood returned to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Fla.) for the 50th annual DIRTcar Nationals. In a stout field of 51 Late Models, Tyler recorded an eighth place finish in his heat race, sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Needing to finish second or better, Millwood fell short with a seventh-place outing.
For another $7,000-to-win A-Main on Tuesday evening, Millwood followed up the 20th fastest lap in his time trial group with a fifth place finish in his heat. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the feature, Tyler came two spots shy of a transfer position with a fourth-place finish.
On Wednesday night as the remainder of the weekend shifted under the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series banner, Tyler came in fifth in his heat, sending him into the B-Main. Locking the Top 2 into the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Millwood posted a fourth-place outing.

November 5, 2020 - 14th place finish in Last Call opener at Charlotte |
Tyler Millwood was one of 55 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries on hand at the Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) on Wednesday night for the Last Call, the event replacing the Can-Am World Finals due to Covid-19 restrictions. Coming one spot shy of a transfer spot in his heat race with a fourth place finish, Millwood transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. After suffering a shredded tire while leading, Tyler charged from the tail of the field in the remaining distance to pick up the 10-lap victory. August 15, 2020 - Tyler Millwood wires SAS field at TST for richest career payday |
Tyler Millwood dominated Saturday’s 3rd Annual Governor’s Cup at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala., earning him his richest career payday.
The Georgia native streaked to a $10,000 triumph in his Millwood Plumbing No. 31 Rocket Chassis/ Durham Racing Engine Super Late Model. It was his second win of the season.
“Sometimes it’s just your night and you can’t do nothing wrong. The only we could’ve done better there was qualify on the pole," said Millwood. “We’ve had a good car ever since we got in these Rockets. We just needed to t do some fine-tuning. We finally found where it needed it to be.”
In a stout field of 40 Southern All-Star Racing Series entries, Millwood timed in third fastest in his qualifying group before picking up a 10-lap heat race victory. Earning the pole position for the A-Main, Tyler led flag-to-flag in the 60-lapper to finish 1.383 seconds ahead of Dillon Tidmore, Todd Morrow, Jack Hale, and Donald McIntosh.
This Saturday, August 22, Millwood will follow the Southern All-Star Racing Series to I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tenn. The “Dirt Slinger Classic” at the 3/8-mile oval boasts a $5,000 top prize for Super Late Models.
