 Running in the Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100, Tyler Millwood visited Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Friday night for the two-day unsanctioned event. Drawing 62 Super Late Models, Millwood logged a 5th place outing in his heat transferring him into the B-Main for one last shot at the main event. Sending the Top 2, Tyler edged his way into the feature with a 2nd place finish. With $20,000 on the line, Tyler Millwood registered a 18th place outing in the 100-lapper. (Chris McDill Photo)

| September 4th, 2016 - Millwod Bags a Trio of Top 10 Finishes Over Labor Day Weekend |
 Kicking off the action-packed Labor Day Weekend, Tyler Millwood headed to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) on Saturday night for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series sanctioned event. In a field of 26 Super Late Models, Millwood timed in 11th overall giving him the 11th-starting position for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Advancing through the field four positions in the 40-lap affair, Tyler notched a 7th place finish.
 On Sunday Millwood traveled to Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) competing in both the Super and CT-525 Late Model division. Drawing 30 CT-525 Late Models for the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series event, Millwood laid down the fastest time in qualifying earning him the 2nd-starting spot for the feature. With $5,000 on the line, Tyler posted a 3rd place finish behind Riley Hickman and Jake Knowles with William Thomas and Michael Page rounding out the Top 5.
Battling in a field of 24 Super Late Models for the unsanctioned event during the same night, Tyler brought home a 6th place outing.
