July 21, 2019 - Millwood Debuts with Southern Nationals

After Mother Nature wiped out Friday’s program at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia), Tyler Millwood followed the Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals to Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) on Sunday afternoon for the $5,300-to-win A-Main. With 23 cars on hand for the fifth-round of the rain-soaked tour, Millwood recorded the fifth fastest time in his qualifying group before picking up a 10-lap heat race victory. Starting the feature in 9th, Tyler was an early retiree from the 53-lapper while being credited with a 17th place outing.
