May 30, 2020 - Top-5 Finish In First Tazewell Appearance for Tyler Millwood

1Tyler’s first laps around the high banked oval were the fastest out of all 29 entires in qualifying with a 11.710 sec lap around the world’s fastest 1/3 mile. Tyler’s qualifying effort gave him the pole position for one of four 10-lap heat races. Tyler led all 10 laps in his heat but had to hold off a hard-charging Michael Chilton in the closing laps before taking the checkered flag.

After Tyler’s heat race win, all four heat race winners would then redraw for the first two rows of the main event. With Tyler drawing the 1, it gave him the pole starting position in the 50-lap, $10,000 to win main event. Racing door-to-door with a couple of the hottest drivers in the country, Tyler brought his Millwood Plumbing No. 31 across the finish line in the 5th position.

May 23, 2020 - Podium Finish for Tyler Millwood in Thunderhill Debut

1Tyler locked himself into the main event by placing third in his qualifying group against 35 cars with a 12.694 second lap around the high banked oval. Tyler then started fifth in the 50-lap, $5,000 to win feature and drove up two positions to bring home a 3rd place finish in his Thunderhill debut.

May 7, 2020 - Seventh Place Finish in DirtonDirt Shootout
1On Thursday evening Tyler Millwood traveled to Senoia (GA) Raceway powering his Millwood Plumbing No. 31 Late Model entry for the DirtonDirt.com Shootout. With the top six qualifiers getting locked into the Dash, Millwood posted the third fastest time in his group. Coming in fourth in the Dash, Tyler locked into the fourth-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Dropping three spots in the 40-lap affair, Tyler Millwood notched a seventh place outing. May 2, 2020 - Tyler Millwood Attends Carolina Triple-Header, Scores Top 10 at Lancaster
1 Tyler Millwood Racing headed to the Carolina’s this weekend for a triple-header of racing; quarantine style.

Tyler opened up the triple-header Thursday night at the TriCounty Racetrack in Brasstown, North Carolina for the Schaeffer’s Oil Invitational. Among the 25 cars invited, Tyler qualified 11th with a 12.854 second lap. With a 5th place finish in one of two heat races, Tyler would roll off 15th in the 40-lap feature. After suffering a flat tire around the halfway point, Tyler was able to rebound and rally back through the field to finish in the 11th position.

1On Friday night, the Tyler Millwood Racing team headed south to the Lancaster Motor Speedway Caskey/Munn in Lancaster, South Carolina for the Lancaster Lidlifter. Tyler was 19th fastest out of 25 cars in qualifying with a 19.147 second lap around the big half-mile. Tyler then started and finished 5th in his heat race to roll off 19th in the 40 lapper. 1Tyler Millwood Racing then headed to Gaffney, South Carolina’s Cherokee Speedway on Saturday to round out the triple-header with the Palmetto Invitational. With a very hefty 36-car field, Tyler qualified 14th in his qualifying group with a 16.499 second lap. A 6th place finish in his heat race afterwards set him up to start in a B-Main in order to make the show. Tyler made it up to the 5th position in the B-Main but unfortunately did not transfer in to the 40-lap main event.
